Lu Xue Ya

A fresh and elegant traditional white tea with a smooth texture and gentle sweetness. Young Lu Xue Ya shows fresh vegetal notes and a clean fragrance, while the soft sweetness remains through repeated infusions.

The liquor is clear pale golden-yellow.

HOW TO BREW IT

Gongfu, in a gaiwan

Use 7 g per 150 ml of water at 90–95°C. Start with a short 5–10 second infusion and increase the time gradually.

WHERE IT COMES FROM

Nanping, Fujian, China

Lu Xue Ya is a historic Fujian white tea associated with the early development of the region’s white-tea tradition.

This version is produced from Fuding Dabai and Dahao cultivars grown at approximately 500–600 meters near the southern slopes of the Wuyi Mountains. Spring leaves are handpicked using one bud with one or two leaves.

The tea is naturally withered and slowly dried without rolling, preserving its down-covered buds, gentle sweetness and fresh character.
