Oriental Beauty

A smooth and highly aromatic oolong with layers of honey, ripe fruit and flowers. The liquor has a mellow sweetness and soft body, followed by a clean and persistent aromatic finish.

The liquor is bright golden.

HOW TO BREW IT

Use 7g per 150 ml at 95°C. Start with 10 seconds, steep the second infusion for around 15 seconds and gradually increase the time.

Sanming, Fujian, China

This Oriental Beauty-style oolong is grown at approximately 1,100 meters and produced from the Jin Xuan cultivar.

Natural bites from Jacobiasca formosana leafhoppers trigger changes in the leaves that contribute to the tea’s characteristic honeyed and fruity aromas.

The leaves are handpicked and processed through sunlight and shade withering, repeated tossing, 60–80% oxidation, fixation, further resting, rolling and slow drying.
